The Panda

You may have noticed the branding change recently… the few branding changes recently.

Fortunately, I think we are finally happy and settled with our brand, but I wanted to take a moment to explain the meaning – the symbol – of the brand.

EXPERIENCING PARENTHOOD

The Panda

Life as Leels, after a journey, was branded in March 2012.

It was niche-less which in theory, made it a lifestyle blog. The past few years, my heart has journeyed more to the parenting side instead of the lifestyle side, hence the starting of Experiencing Parenthood.

Our parenting journey was changing. It was a journey that I was finding was very lonely until I started speaking up and sharing. A journey of having a child with special needs. A journey that I wanted to start sharing so other parents going through a similar journey would not feel alone.

This journey in our experience of parenthood has been heavily involved in Blake and his mental health journey – a journey that was very uncharted by us or our family.

Blake’s favorite animal is, well I am sure you can guess, a panda.

We felt it only fitting that such a unique journey into experiencing parenthood be branded with something meaningful, important, and as unique as our journey.

Hence, the panda.

What do you think of our new brand? Is it fitting? Leave us a comment and let us know!
