Yogurt on the Go for Moms on the Go

August 21, 2017 By Leila Leave a Comment

Now that I started working full time again, I am on the lookout for things that I can take with me on the go.

My time has dwindled down so foods that I can drink or eat while on the go is key for me.

Lately, I have been having breakfast shakes that hubby makes for me when he gets home in the morning and then I drink them on my drive to work, but now that I have been introduced to Dannon® Oikos® Nonfat Yogurt Drink 4 pack at Walmart, I can have some variety in the mornings!

Dannon® Oikos® Nonfat Yogurt Drink

Oikos Nonfat Yogurt Drinks are deliciously smooth, drinkable yogurts that pack in 10g of protein without any added sugar, artificial sweeteners, or fat. Best of all, it comes in a convenient 7 fl oz bottle you can take anywhere you need to go.

It works out perfect for me because we have to have “spill proof” containers at work and the 7 fl oz bottle has a lid and is sturdy plastic so it doesn’t break the rules.

It has my protein to last me through most, if not all, of the day until I can get home to eat again; it’s a drinkable yogurt so it reminds me of a smoothie (which I love); and it’s yummy in four different flavors – strawberry, mixed berry, banana creme, and vanilla.

I keep a lunch bag in my backpack that I can stick an ice pack in and bring with me so I can always drink one on the way to work and bring a second one for my lunch break!

Dannon® Oikos® Nonfat Yogurt Drinks are exactly the variety I need to start my mornings before a long day at work!

Speaking of on the go…

What are your must have items when you know you will be on the go all day?

Yogurt on the Go for Moms on the Go

I have become reliant on my backpack so I can bring everything I need for a long day away whether it be work or running around for other things.

I have:

    • My lunch bag with ice pack
    • (2) water bottles (a 36 ounce and a 48 ounce)
    • Sunglasses
    • Lip gloss/lip balm
    • Tylenol
    • Fidget toys (for me at work, or the kids if they need it)
    • Feminine products
    • Hard candy and a snack
    • ID and debit card

These are always in my bag so I can just grab my back pack and go. I usually have coffee, my breakfast shake, or now, my Dannon® Oikos® Nonfat Yogurt Drink with me when I leave to curb my hunger until I get back home.

I always try to make sure I am prepared for not only myself, but the caring person that I am by nature; I ensure that I have back up supplies for the kids as necessary and of course, anyone I may be with that may need something (pretty sure I am known as the candy lady at work now!)

I feel like I am always prepared with the basics and since starting work, I feel like I am always on the go!

What are your must have items on the go? Did I miss something that is your must have? Let me know!
