{Disclosure: This is a sponsored post sharing off the great items of Basic Invite to help with the upcoming graduation season. All opinions are 100% my own.}
Graduation season is coming. I know down here in Arizona, graduation comes at the end of May. I know in Minnesota, graduation comes the second week in June. Either way – graduation is coming!
Here are some things to remember when planning graduation:
Set a budget. It’s so easy to go over budget and get carried away, but if you set a budget, it will help you focus on what you need and how much you can spend.
Location. Where are you going to host a graduation party? Personally, mine was at home outside. Other ideas are to rent a hall or make reservations at a restaurant.
Food. Are you going to have snacks and appetizers? Are you going to have it during a non-meal time and not serve food? If you serve food, are you cooking or catering in?
Entertainment. What are you going to do? Honestly, I don’t recall having much ‘entertainment’ and I don’t recall anyone else having ‘entertainment’ with the exception of one friend who had badmitton set up in the backyard!
Invitations. You need to get the word out!
I know, I know. Facebook event invites seems like the ‘modern’ way to go, but what about those not on social media? What about the keepsake aspect?
Basic Invites has some great graduation invites that you can include your picture, making it not only a cute invitation, but also a neat keepsake to hold on to.
Not having a graduation party?
You can use Basic Invites for graduation announcements, letting friends and family know that you have graduated – whether it be high school or college!
The invites have a variety of looks and colors so you are sure to find something that you love!
Did you have a graduation party when you graduated? Where was it and what did you do?
This is a great list, I will def be passing it on to those i know who have children graduating. Thanks for sharing. xx Ashleigh @SimplyWright
Thank you! 🙂
Great post! My daughter just turned 2 so I have a while before I need to plan a graduation but definitely pinning and saving for later!
LOL! Right!? I have a 2, almost 7, and 9 year old so I have time, but I’m afraid it will be here before I know it!
I have one ‘graduating’ from 8th grade. I know, silly, right? There will be no hullabaloo!
I remember doing kindergarten graduation! I’m sure I’ll have to deal with 6th grade graduation in a few years too!
Hi, Found you in Grow Your Blog FB group. My youngest just graduated from high school. Nice to meet you.
Hi! Thanks for stopping by!
Not looking forward to the day when my child graduates. However, this is a good list.
Thank you! And I concur! I do not look forward to the days!
